1. Double click My Computer on your desktop.

2. Double click the Dial-Up Networking folder.

3. Double click the Make New Connection icon.

4. The Make New Connection window will open. Type in Destek Connect for the name of the computer you are dialing. Make sure that your modem is listed under Select a modem. Click Next.

5. Leave the Area code field blank and type in your local access number in the Telephone number field. Please be sure to verify it's not a toll call. Click Next. Then click Finish at the next screen.

6. Right mouse click your newly created Destek Connect icon in the Dial-Up Networking folder and click on Properties.

7. Click on the Server Types tab of the window that opens. Make sure that Enable software compression and TCP/IP are the ONLY items that are checked. Click OK.

8. Double click on the Destek Connect icon in the Dial Up Networking folder, enter your user name, enter your password, and click connect.
